The facade of the building, iconic to business in Mexico, is based on the company logo and follows the design of its home offices based in Canada. It is illuminated with lighting that matches their corporate colors and penetrates to the interior through the main entrance and reception.
The reception and waiting areas have a mural portraying the history of medicine in Mexico and a maple wood wall to exhibit Apotex’s principal products.
The offices are based on an open, central area that functions like an old-fashioned patio utilizing a simple design of aluminum partitions and maple wood doors. All the floors have lobbies that consist of backlit white onyx partitions that limit the view to the interior, with the exception being the first floor where the onyx partition serves as a focal point when viewed from the main entrance.
The project consists of the renovation of the entire building, including its infrastructure, vestibules and communal use areas such as the elevators, washrooms, stairs and gardens.
