As a law firm, attention to detail and image were key in the design concept and development.

The planning was particularly important in terms of segregating operational areas from client areas and being able to isolate clients from each other.

The project attempts to achieve a conservative, elegant, modern, corporate image by the juxtaposition of different layers of transparencies and depths.

Walls and doors are treated as independent planes, overlapping and bending to become either floor, ceiling or remain completely free standing. In the planning, the open space is considered a solid mass or field that allows for the walls and doors to enclose space through these independent design elements.

Wood plays an important role in creating the modern yet formal image of a law firm, providing for warmth of space that contrasts with the colder materials of marble and glass.
