Architecture

Interior architectural design of approximately 3,100 m2 in Colonia Lomas Altas, Mexico City.

This project strives to maintain the character of a country estate, framed by gardens and through the reclamation of existing materials in a selective manner. Our principal focus was the conservation of wood with which the reception area was designed, the appreciation of double-height spaces, doors and architectural details.

At the same time, we searched to maintain a corporate image that was achieved in previous projects for the client an office plan using existing furniture.

This project resulted from an evacuation from their previous premises and thus the need for it to be completed in two phases; a temporary first stage and, another in the near term to accommodate the program based on standards.

Due to unexpected company growth during the project development we had to resolve how to accommodate many more people than planned unexpected personnel that resulted from the project’s development.
