Architecture

Interior architectural design of approximately 1,000 m2 of a building in Plaza Polanco, Mexico City.

This project is highlighted by the successful presentation of two brands with very distinct corporate images, Dockers and Levi’s and the flexible use of space combining both office and product presentation functions. The product display zone functions as a work area for design, cloth selection, storage of samples, model runway, point of sales and board room. This area is subdivided into three distinct, multi-function spaces through the use of portable closets and custom designed sliding and swinging doors which also serve as advertising displays.

This project gained the status as the “benchmark” for future Levi Strauss’ offices. The result is a project that serves multiple functions while maintaining a fun and dynamic character.

This was ultimately achieved by working closely with the client to develop a corporate image complementary to both brands, development of a multi-functional space and the simultaneous creation of custom furniture and support elements.

The lighting and materials were carefully chosen to achieve the desired image.Together with my design team, we created multiple use tables that served as office furniture and could also be opened to function as drawers, closets, product pedestals and promotional poster displays according to the client’s needs. Lastly, the above project was completed in the record time of four weeks.
